A large diving duck with a long thin bill, the Red Breasted Merganser is found in large lakes, rivers and the ocean. It prefers salt water more than other species of merganser. Our Red Breasted Merganser features fully carved wings, graphic paint, glass eyes, slightly distressed finish and real horsehair comb extending from the back. This comb added realism when placed in the water to lure birds close enough for a shot. It is branded with the “WHITE” name and measures apprx. 20″ long x 5″ wide x 8″ high.
