This is our stylized version of the classic shorebird, attributed to the late Elmer Crowell, popular Cape Cod carver. Note the so called “minnow in the throat”, which simulates it feeding on a minnow. Our Greater Yellowlegs features include glass eyes, split tail, and a “two position hole”, which allows it to be displayed in an alert or feeding position. It measures apprx. 14″ long x 3″ wide x 8 1/2″ tall on its base.
